Bill Bible has been a realtor for 29 years. For the first 21, Bible worked for a developer in Columbus. In Fall 2012, he moved back to Elida with his wife and continued his real estate career with Superior (then Yocum). Before his realtor career even began, Bible worked in retail for 20 years at JCPenney.
Bible originally chose to become a realtor because he liked the idea of commission, “I wanted to be somewhere where I was rewarded for the work that I did.” Bible’s favorite parts about the job have changed a little bit since his start – his favorite parts now are meeting new people and the flexible hours, which allow him to visit his two daughters who both live in other states.
Bill describes his professional personality as “quiet; not pushy.” Bible was happy when Yocum became Superior PLUS because it meant being a part of something bigger and having more money to spend on advertising – which means increased sales for realtors.
