Tim Heinz became a real estate agent at Superior PLUS (previously Yocum Realty) about 15 years ago, after hearing an ad on the radio. Previously a golf pro, with his last stint at Shawnee Country Club, he interacted with many club members who were local realtors.
“I wanted to continue to work and live in Lima, so after hearing an ad on the radio, I started taking the four weeks of classes in Dayton,” Heinz explained. “I thought being a realtor would be good for me as I’m an extrovert and love being around people. I studied for the Real Estate License test and passed almost 15 years ago.”
Heinz’s favorite thing about real estate is that it keeps him on his toes. “Real estate is a challenge; you never stop learning and everyday is something new,” Heinz enthused. “Helping people is my favorite part.”
To Heinz, being “superior” means doing things right and getting the job done for his clients. He reasoned that his clients would describe his professional personality as outgoing and honest.
Ohio State or Michigan? “I am a Michigan alum, but I also root for Ohio State because my son went there!”
