Tim Stanford, broker at Superior PLUS Realtors, was named 2019 Realtor of the Year for the West Central Association of Realtors at the 101st Annual Awards Banquet at the Shawnee Country Club on Nov. 20, 2019.
“I have been working for Tim for 15 years and he has been amazing to work for,” said Veronica Fox, Realtor at Superior PLUS Realtors. “He is very understanding, compassionate and supportive, even with issues in my personal life such as raising a special needs child.”
The Realtor of the Year award winner is chosen based on local board activity, state association activity, national association activity and civic activity. Each of the four sections have a number of points and whoever has the most points for all sections wins Realtor of the Year.
Stanford has been a licensed Realtor since 1986 and became a licensed Broker in 1993. He is very involved with Lima Rotary, West Central Ohio Chamber of Commerce, Lima Public Library Association and several other local organizations.
Pam Vickers, Realtor at Superior PLUS Realtors, nominated Tim Stanford for the Realtor of the Year award.
“I nominated Tim Stanford because I have worked with him for 20 years and as a broker, he has always been in the office on a daily basis for his agents,” said Vickers. “Tim devotes so much time to the community, something we should all aspire to. He is always volunteering his time with our local board and committees, as well as serving and volunteering for regional and state committees. He is an absolutely awesome broker and deserves to be Realtor of the Year.”
“Being named Realtor of the Year is a great honor. This award is really a reflection of the entire Realtor organization,” said Stanford. “It is about all of the good things Realtors do each year to make our communities stronger, healthier and better places to live. It is humbling to be singled out for my efforts. I have long championed property rights and their preservation. I have worked with our legislators and local government representatives to assure homeowners and business owners that their rights will be respected. Owning real estate helps people become financially secure. Nothing is more important than protecting each individual’s ability to buy, own, enjoy and sell real estate.”
