Almost 2,000 people call Elida home, which is a small village just northwest of Lima. Elida Local Schools (K-12) are better known as the Bulldogs in the sports world. They are members of the Western Buckeye League (WBL) in Northwest Ohio.
Fun fact: 2014 Elida graduate Dakota Mathias was recently picked up by the Cleveland Cavaliers and played on their summer league team.
