Ottawa is the county seat of Putnam County, Ohio. The village is currently the home to roughly 4,500 people. Due to the proximity and size of the village closest to it (Glandorf), they joined high schools in 1964 to form Ottawa-Glandorf, which resides in Ottawa.
The Ottawa-Glandorf Titans participate in the Western Buckeye League (WBL) and are the only Putnam County school that doesn’t participate in the Putnam County League (PCL).
Fun fact: Ottawa is named after the Native American tribe that originally inhabited it.
